Bengaluru, Aug. 13 -- The Karnataka Cabinet on Thursday cleared a Bill proposing tighter regulation of private activities in schools, colleges and public places, setting the stage for a fresh confrontation between the Congress government and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The Bill is likely to be introduced in the ongoing Assembly session and could become a major political flashpoint, given the government's earlier moves against RSS activities and the organisation's confrontation with the state over route marches.
