Belagavi, July 14 -- Karnataka's long-awaited Cabinet expansion is likely to take place soon, senior Congress leader and Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi said on Tuesday, while forcefully pitching for greater representation to Belagavi district in the ministry.
Speaking to reporters here, Jarkiholi said the expansion had been under discussion for some time and expressed confidence that it would be carried out shortly. "It will happen sooner or later. The decision, however, rests entirely with the Congress high command," he said.
