Bengaluru, July 22 -- The pending expansion of the Karnataka Cabinet remains in limbo, with the final decision resting entirely with the Congress high command, Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi said on Wednesday amid mounting speculation over an imminent induction of new ministers.

"The high command will decide. We are waiting for its decision," Jarkiholi told reporters, making it clear that the fate of the Cabinet expansion lies with the party's central leadership.
