Bengaluru, June 22 -- The Karnataka BJP leadership has sought a meeting with the party's national president in New Delhi on June 23 to brief him on alleged cross-voting by MLAs during last week's Legislative Council elections, senior leader and Leader of Opposition R Ashoka said on Monday.
Ashoka said the meeting was initiated by the state leadership and not summoned by the central leadership, as reported in some quarters. He said state BJP president B Y Vijayendra and he had requested an appointment four days ago and have now been given time by the party's national leadership in Delhi.
