Bengaluru, May 22 -- The ongoing NEET paper leak controversy has triggered a major overhaul in Karnataka's admission calendar, with the state moving Common Entrance Test (CET) counselling ahead of NEET-based admissions and introducing unprecedented flexibility for students across streams.

The decision, taken by the state government after a high-level review meeting, marks a clear departure from the long-followed practice of running CET and NEET counselling in parallel.
