Davangere, June 24 -- A coordinated operation by Karnataka Police and intelligence agencies in Harihar taluk of Davangere district has led to the arrest of a man on Wednesday from Uttar Pradesh over suspected involvement in terror-related activities and alleged links to Pakistan.

The accused, identified as Suhail, had been working as a painter and had recently arrived in the area. He was staying in a village under the jurisdiction of the Harihar Rural Police Station when he was picked up following specific intelligence inputs.

Officials said the operation was carried out in coordination with inputs and directions linked to the National Investigation Agency (NIA), leading to a swift search and subsequent arrest.
