Bengaluru, April 21 -- Public Works Department Minister Satish Jarkiholi today led the Congress' damage-control exercise in Karnataka after disciplinary action against two Muslim leaders triggered a political and community backlash, with senior party figures now indicating that a partial rollback of the decision may be considered.
Speaking to reporters here, Jarkiholi said, "After taking permission from the high command, we will ensure that he (Abdul Jabbar) returns to the party," signalling that the matter is likely to be reviewed at the central level.
