Hyderabad, April 30 -- A large-scale spiritual gathering marked the 350th martyrdom year of Guru Tegh Bahadur at Kanha Shanti Vanam on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Thursday, bringing together people of all faiths through Shabad Kirtan and group meditation.
Organised by the Ministry of Culture and Heartfulness, the event also coincided with the birth anniversaries of Babuji Maharaj and Tukdoji Maharaj. Over 30,000 people attended in person, with many more joining virtually.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind, who attended the event, said India is a land of great spiritual leaders and highlighted Guru Tegh Bahadur's teachings of fearlessness, righteousness, and protection of human rights and religious freedom.
