Kangra, April 8 -- Kangra valley was drenched on Wednesday following heavy rains while the Dhauladhar mountain range overlooking the lush green Kangra valley experienced heavy snowfall, which resulted in a dip in the temperature leaving life in the valley in a lurch.
It has been raining in the valley since Tuesday night. The rains started again on Wednesday afternoon putting life in the valley out of gear.
The Dhauladhar mountain range and its foothills today experienced fresh snowfall unexpectedly in the month of April.
This snowfall resulted in a considerable dip in the temperature.
People have switched on to warm clothes and quilts in the night.
