Kangra, July 30 -- Kangra Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Dr. Anjali Garg on Thursday directed officials to connect the drainage system to the Baner Khad to provide a permanent solution to the recurring problem of waterlogging in the Temple Gaushala Colony and Bajreshwari Ghat during the monsoon.
Heavy rains had caused water to flow towards the Temple Gaushala Colony and Bajreshwari Ghat, while overflowing roadside drains also spilled onto the road, creating inconvenience for residents and devotees.
During an inspection of the affected areas, Dr. Garg instructed officials to construct roadside drains and ensure that the accumulated water is channelled directly into the Baner Khad.
