Ashok RainaDharamshala, Sept. 4 -- The Himachal Pradesh government is committed to accelerating the development and expansion of Kangra Airport while ensuring that the interests and rights of affected families are fully protected, Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania said on Friday.
Talking to reporters on his arrival at Kangra Airport, Pathania said around Rs 4,000 crore was being spent on development and expansion of Kangra Airport, with several works progressing rapidly and some at the final stage.
He said the project would improve air connectivity and provide a major boost to tourism, trade, employment and economic activity not only in Kangra but across Himachal Pradesh.
