Bhubaneswar, June 17 -- Kalinga Sena, a regional political outfit, on Wednesday demanded the immediate resignation of Odisha's School and Mass Education Minister, holding him morally responsible for what it termed "unpardonable" errors in newly published Odia-language school textbooks.
The outfit also sought criminal action against officials involved in the publication process and recovery of the financial loss from those responsible.
Addressing a press conference, Kalinga Sena supremo Hemant Rath alleged that the textbooks were riddled with thousands of mistakes, calling it an unprecedented lapse in Odisha's educational history.
