Kakinada, Sept. 9 -- Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board CEO and District Electoral Roll Observer Sagili Shanmohan on Wednesday directed Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant EROs (AEROs) to ensure accuracy and transparency in the preparation of electoral rolls under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026.
Reviewing the progress of the SIR process with District Collector M N Harendhira Prasad at the Collectorate here, Shanmohan said electoral rolls played a crucial role in strengthening democracy and should be prepared without errors.
