Kakinada, May 30 -- : Members of the AP Medical Contract Employees and Security Guards Workers Union, affiliated to the All India Trade union Congress (AITUC), staged a dharna in front of the Collectorate here on Friday, demanding enhanced safety measures for women security guards and swift action against those involved in an alleged assault on a woman security guard at the Government General Hospital (GGH).
The protesters raised slogans demanding the immediate arrest of the accused involved in the March 6 attack and urged authorities to file the charge sheet without further delay.
