Kakinada, Sept. 26 -- : Kakinada district police arrested a man in connection with the burglary at the residence of the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) in Peddapuram town on July 25 and recovered Rs. 15 lakh in cash and gold jewellery weighing 105.4 grams, Superintendent of Police Bindu Madhav said on Saturday.
Addressing a press conference here, the SP said the case posed a challenge to investigators as no direct evidence was available at the scene of the offence.
The case was detected under his direct supervision with the help of modern information technology and investigative techniques, he added.
