Satish SethKaithal, Aug. 18 -- The Sangatpura police arrested an accused along with 95 kg 825 grams of poppy husk in Haryana's Kaithal district.
The police also recovered a white Creta car used in drug smuggling from the accused's possession. Efforts are being made to identify and arrest two other absconding accused in the case.
DSP Sushil Prakash stated that while patrolling, the team of SI Balraj Singh, in-charge of the Sangatpura police post, received a tip-off that three young men were traveling from Dhanauri to Galauli via Punjab, carrying poppy husk.
The police team set up a checkpoint near the drain bridge on the Dhanauri-Galauli road and began checking vehicles.
