Jwalamukhi (Kangra), Oct. 30 -- Jwalamukhi MLA Sanjay Rattan on Friday stressed the need to prioritise pilgrim amenities, accessibility and city beautification while preparing the master plan for the Shri Jwalamukhi Temple and the town.
Addressing a meeting held at the temple trust auditorium under the chairmanship of SDM and Joint Commissioner (Temple) Dr Sanjeev Sharma, Rattan called for developing the road from the bus stand to the temple as an attractive religious corridor and exploring the possibility of shifting overhead electricity wires underground.
Architects from the Department of Architecture, NIT Hamirpur, participated in discussions on the planned development of the temple complex and the town.
