Birmingham, June 14 -- Debutant Juairiya Ferdous produced a dream World Cup debut, smashing a fluent half-century to steer Bangladesh Women to a six-wicket victory over Netherlands Women in their ICC Women's T20 World Cup Group A match at Edgbaston on Sunday.
Playing her first match at the global event, the young opener showed little sign of nerves as she took the attack to the Dutch bowlers from the outset.
