Ranchi, Aug. 19 -- The JPSC-JSSC Reform Forum on Wednesday announced that it was calling off its ongoing agitation and would give the Jharkhand government 60 days to implement the students' remaining demands.

The forum is scheduled to formally announce the decision at a press conference in Ranchi later on Wednesday.

The students had been protesting at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium since July 25 against alleged irregularities in JPSC and JSSC recruitment examinations and demanding reforms and an impartial probe.

The announcement comes a day after the state government cancelled the JSSC-CGL examination and several recruitment examinations conducted through TDPL. The government also ordered investigations into a number of recruitment exami...
