Jammu, June 9 -- : Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) has operationalised an integrated system combining AI-based road monitoring with a cold emulsion pothole patching machine worth Rs 1.3 crore for the scientific and timely repair of damaged roads across Jammu city.
Commissioner (JMC) Dr Devansh Yadav said the corporation has adopted a proactive approach to road maintenance by leveraging modern technology to identify and repair potholes before the onset of the monsoon season.
Under the initiative, specially equipped municipal vehicles fitted with AI-enabled cameras have been deployed for continuous monitoring of city roads.
