Bhubaneswar, Aug. 30 -- Reliance Jio added a record 3.27 lakh new mobile subscribers in Odisha in July 2026, more than four times the additions made by its nearest rival Airtel, according to the latest telecom subscription data released by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).
TRAI data showed that Jio added 3,27,034 subscribers in Odisha during July, followed by Airtel with 80,405 and Vodafone Idea (Vi) with 9,667. State-run BSNL, meanwhile, registered a decline of 4,707 subscribers during the month.
Driven by Jio's additions, Odisha's total wireless subscriber base grew by more than 4.12 lakh in July, taking the state's total mobile connections beyond 3.9 crore.
