Ranchi, April 10 -- The Jharkhand Greco-Roman wrestling team on Friday left for Durg in Chhattisgarh to participate in the U-20 Junior National Wrestling Championship 2026.
The championship, featuring men's freestyle, Greco-Roman and women's categories, is scheduled to be held from April 10 to 12 at Bhilai in Durg district.
The Jharkhand contingent comprises 12 members, including 10 wrestlers and two coaches, officials said.
The wrestlers in the Greco-Roman category include Anjit Kumar Munda (55 kg), Akash Kumar Mahto (60 kg), Arvind Oraon (63 kg), Birendra Pradhan (67 kg), Abhishek Munda (72 kg), Rohit Kumar (77 kg), Vikas Gorain (82 kg), Anshit Kumar (87 kg), Abhimanyu Kumar (97 kg) and Sonu Kumar Mahto (130 kg).
