Raipur/Ranchi, March 26 -- Jharkhand began its campaign in the first Khelo India Tribal Games women's hockey competition with a 30-0 win over Tamil Nadu in a league match, officials said on Thursday.
Jharkhand dominated the contest from the outset and remained in control throughout the one-sided encounter held in Raipur, where the Games are being organised from March 25 to April 2 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the Chhattisgarh government.
Celestina Horo scored six goals for Jharkhand, while Nisha Minj added five and Anisha Dungdung struck four, officials said.
