Ranchi, May 31 -- The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Pushpanjali Banerjee, head coach of the Jharkhand senior women's cricket team, as head coach for the Inter Centre of Excellence (COE) Under-19 Elite matches to be held in Bengaluru from June 1 to 10.
The appointment is being viewed as a significant recognition of Banerjee's contribution to cricket coaching and player development in Jharkhand.
Over the years, Banerjee has worked extensively with women's cricket in the state and has played a key role in nurturing young talent, several of whom have gone on to represent Jharkhand at higher levels of competition.
