Ranchi, April 18 -- Jharkhand raised issues of pending dues, wage revision and funding pattern under MGNREGA during a video conference chaired by union Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday.

State Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Dipika Pandey Singh participated in the meeting attended by rural development ministers from several states.

Singh said payments under MGNREGA in Jharkhand are pending, including Rs 950 crore under material head, Rs 300 crore in wages and Rs 36 crore in administrative expenses, and urged the Centre to expedite the release.

She said delays in payments have affected worker participation in rural areas.
