Ranchi, June 10 -- The Jharkhand Premier League (JPL) got off to a vibrant start at the JSCA International Stadium here on Wednesday, drawing a large turnout of cricket enthusiasts from across Jharkhand and neighbouring states.
The opening match of the tournament featured Chotanagpur Royals against Ranchi Titans, while Koyalanchal Super Kings were scheduled to face Jamshedpur Stallions in the evening fixture.
Spectators began arriving at the stadium hours before the start of play, with the lower tiers of multiple stands filling up quickly. Fans from Bihar, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh were also among those present.
