Jamshedpur, June 10 -- Jharkhand MLA Saryu Roy has sought a detailed report from the Mango Municipal Corporation on the status of the Mango Water Supply Scheme and implementation of civic development projects in the area.
In a letter to newly appointed Additional Municipal Commissioner Jitendra Yadav, Roy raised a series of questions regarding the functioning of the project's intake well, water treatment plant, distribution network and water supply system.
He sought details on the condition of pumps installed at the intake well, the quantity of water drawn daily for treatment, operational status of treatment facilities and the duration and timing of water supply to different localities.
