Ranchi, Oct. 30 -- Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Dipika Pandey Singh on Friday chaired the first meeting of the state-level District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) at Project Building in Ranchi, directing officials to ensure timely implementation of development schemes and delivery of benefits to eligible people.
The meeting reviewed the progress, achievements and implementation challenges of various centrally sponsored schemes, with emphasis on completing pending projects, improving utilisation of approved funds and resolving administrative and technical bottlenecks.
Singh said reviews should go beyond physical and financial progress figures and assess whether the benefits were actually reaching people....
