Ranchi, May 25 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday directed officials to ensure regular monitoring of schemes, prudent budget management and achievement of revenue targets within the stipulated timeframe during a high-level review meeting of the finance and commercial taxes departments.
Chairing the meeting at the Jharkhand Ministry, the Chief Minister reviewed the state's financial position, revenue collection, budget implementation and progress of various departmental programmes and development projects.
Soren stressed the need for effective management and optimal utilisation of financial resources and asked officials to closely monitor the implementation of schemes, expenditure patterns and target achievement.
