Ranchi, Oct. 18 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and several other political leaders expressed grief over the deaths of devotees in a stampede at the Chorbagan Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata.
The leaders conveyed condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the incident.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar described the incident as deeply distressing and expressed sympathy with the families who lost their loved ones. He also prayed for the early recovery of the injured.
