Ranchi, June 4 -- : Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Dipika Pandey Singh on Thursday launched the Palash honey brand under the Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), with plans to connect 9,000 women to beekeeping activities across the state.

The honey products were launched at Lupung village in Itki block of Ranchi district in the presence of JSLPS Chief Executive Officer Ananya Mittal and members of Jharkhand Madhu Aajeevika Farmer Producer Company Limited.

The first phase comprises three varieties marketed as Forest Honey, Cerana Premium Honey and Melifera Honey.
