Ranchi, April 5 -- The election of the Jharkhand Judo Association was held at the Press Club here on Sunday, with K N Tripathi elected president, Parikshit Tiwari general secretary and Anshuman Ray treasurer.
Observers deputed by the Judo Federation of India, Ram Uday Singh and Surya Dev Tyagi from Bihar, were present during the election process. Rajendra Prasad attended as observer on behalf of the Jharkhand Olympic Association.
Office-bearers from 20 district units of the state participated in the election, following which the new executive body of the association was formed unanimously.
