Ranchi, Oct. 22 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Thursday inaugurated the 15th All India Police Archery Championship at Birsa Munda Athletics Stadium in Khelgaon, Ranchi, highlighting the importance of discipline, concentration and physical fitness in sports and police service.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Gangwar said archery required concentration, patience, precision and commitment to the target, qualities that were equally important in policing for assessing situations and taking sound decisions.
