Ranchi, June 15 -- : Jharkhand may soon introduce a salary advance and credit facility for government employees through empanelled Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), according to a proposal placed for consideration before the state Cabinet.
The proposal, prepared by the Finance Department, seeks to provide government employees access to short-term salary advances, credit facilities, insurance products and other value-added financial services through a digital platform without creating any financial liability for the state government.
