Kolkata, May 13 -- A Jharkhand government-owned and operated store that will showcase handloom and handicraft items from the state opened here on Wednesday.
The outlet, Jharkraft, is located on Theatre Road, a stone's throw away from the Saturday Club.
The showroom features an extensive range of garments fashioned from natural fibres, including shirts, sarees and kurtas designed to remain cool and comfortable in typically hot summer conditions.
Visitors will also find shawls made from pure wool, handwoven by skilled artisans.
Among the standout offerings is Dokra, the traditional metal craft renowned for its distinctive motifs and painstaking craftsmanship.
