Ranchi, June 9 -- Jharkhand Congress on Tuesday criticised the Centre over the reported reduction in the number of subsidised LPG cylinders available under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, alleging that the move would increase the financial burden on poor and rural households.
State Congress secretary and spokesperson Rishikesh Singh claimed that the government had reduced the number of subsidised cylinders available to beneficiaries and alleged that the decision would adversely affect economically weaker families already facing rising living costs.
