Ranchi, April 8 -- The Jharkhand Congress on Wednesday rejected BJP state president Aditya Sahu's allegations that the party used "communal language" for power, terming the charge baseless and politically motivated. Pradesh Congress general secretary and media incharge Rakesh Sinha said the BJP was trying to divert public attention from what he described as pressing issues such as unemployment, inflation, farmers' concerns and rising social tension.
He said the Congress had historically stood for social harmony, constitutional values and secularism, and accused the BJP of attempting to deepen divisions in society for political benefit.
