Ranchi, July 23 -- Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday was invited to attend the opening ceremony and inaugural match of the 135th edition of the Durand Cup 2026, scheduled to be held in Ranchi on July 26.
A delegation comprising Tourism, Art, Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department Secretary Mukesh Kumar, Sports Director Chhavi Ranjan, General Officer Commanding 23 Infantry Brigade Major General Sajjan Singh Mann, Durand Cup Nodal Officer Colonel Hem Chandra, and Assistant Nodal Officer Major Anand Prakash called on the Chief Minister at his official residence on Kanke Road.
