Ranchi, July 16 -- Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi on Thursday alleged that policy failures and administrative delays had prevented Jharkhand from realising the full potential of its mineral resources, claiming that only three mineral blocks had been auctioned in the state since 2019-20.
Addressing a press conference, the BJP leader claimed that while 434 mineral blocks had been auctioned across the country during the period, Odisha auctioned 45 blocks and Chhattisgarh 41, compared to only three in Jharkhand.
