Ranchi, June 23 -- The Jharkhand BJP on Tuesday accused the Hemant Soren government of delaying the investigation into the alleged treasury scam and demanded a time-bound probe into the matter.
State BJP chief spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo claimed that more than two months after the issue surfaced, the government had failed to ensure a comprehensive investigation and had not provided all required documents for a special audit sought by the Accountant General (AG).
He alleged that despite recommendations for a special audit, documents sought by the AG's office had not been furnished, raising questions over the pace of the investigation.
