Ranchi, June 22 -- : The Jharkhand government has decided to allow permanent state government employees to avail advance salary equivalent to one month's pay under special circumstances, according to an official decision.
Under the provision, eligible employees will be able to receive one month's advance salary, which must be repaid within two months without any interest.
Officials said if the amount is not repaid within the stipulated period, the employee will be required to refund it in instalments within 12 months along with applicable interest.
The benefit will be available only to permanent government employees. Pensioners, contractual employees and outsourced workers will not be eligible for the facility.
