Deoghar, July 30 -- The month-long Shravani Mela began on Thursday at Baba Baidyanath Dham with thousands of devotees queuing up since early morning to offer Jalabhishek at the revered shrine.
Deputy Commissioner Saurabh Kumar Bhuvania and Superintendent of Police Praveen Pushkar visited the temple to review arrangements and welcomed devotees. Officials said elaborate arrangements, including drinking water, medical aid, information centres, and security, had been put in place for the pilgrims.
