Bokaro, Oct. 2 -- The Phusro-Gomia main road was closed on Thursday after land subsidence affected a stretch near the CCL Dhori general manager's office in Bermo.
Bermo Sub-Divisional Magistrate Manoj Kumar inspected the affected stretch and reviewed the situation with officials of the Road Construction Department and CCL Dhori.
The road has sunk by around five feet at the affected location. The administration has barricaded the stretch and stopped vehicular movement as a precautionary measure.
Kumar said a team of experts from Ranchi would inspect the site to assess the cause of the land subsidence and the condition of the road.
