Dhanbad, Oct. 6 -- IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has launched a capacity-building programme to provide basic and advanced information technology training to tribal students of Classes X to XII at six Eklavya Model Residential Schools in Jharkhand.

The training programme, being conducted from Oct 6 to 9, is being implemented by the Department of Management Studies and Industrial Engineering under a Centre of Excellence initiative supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs.

The participating schools are EMRS Bhognadih, Tasaria, Kathijhoria, Salgadih, Basia and Kujra.
