Dhanbad, July 26 -- IIT (ISM) Dhanbad on Sunday welcomed newly admitted undergraduate and postgraduate students with an orientation programme, during which Director Prof Sukumar Mishra urged them to become innovators, entrepreneurs and job creators.
Addressing separate orientation sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate students, Prof. Mishra highlighted the institute's interdisciplinary academic ecosystem and growing focus on emerging areas such as critical minerals, quantum technology, semiconductors, renewable energy and sustainable mining.
