Dhanbad, Sept. 8 -- A team of students from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has reached the grand finale of the FPC National Level Quiz Competition 2026 after securing a place among the top five teams nationally.
The team, comprising Vidhan Singh Vaish and Akshita Nagvanshi of Mining Machinery Engineering under the Department of Mechanical Engineering, competed against around 500 teams from engineering colleges across the country.
Mentored by Prof Ajit Kumar, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the team cleared the elimination rounds, quarter-finals and semi-finals to qualify for the final stage.
