Koderma, July 18 -- The Jharkhand government on Saturday said the Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana was helping women in Koderma district become financially independent by enabling them to take up self-employment and expand small businesses.
According to a release issued by the District Public Relations Office, several beneficiaries have utilised the financial assistance provided under the scheme to start or strengthen livelihood activities, including garment shops, grocery stores, ration outlets, vegetable and puja material businesses, and soap manufacturing units.
