Seraikela-Kharsawan, Sept. 8 -- Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar on Tuesday inaugurated a newly established cath lab at Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital (NSMCH) here.
The Governor said Jharkhand needed extensive work in the health sector and expansion of advanced medical facilities would help patients access better treatment within the state.
Gangwar said the development of modern healthcare infrastructure could reduce the need for patients to travel outside Jharkhand for treatment.
He said private medical institutions, along with government institutions, had an important role in expanding healthcare services.
