Dhanbad, July 28 -- The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday conducted simultaneous searches at more than 25 locations linked to coal traders, their associates and relatives in Jharkhand's Dhanbad district as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected financial irregularities.
Official sources said the searches were carried out at multiple premises in Jharia, Kendua, Loyabad and other parts of the district. Teams examined banking transactions, property records, business documents and other financial records during the operation.
Searches were also conducted at premises linked to the Yadav brothers in Jharia, the Mandal brothers in Kendua and the Chauhan brothers in Loyabad, sources said.
