Ranchi, Sept. 11 -- Jharkhand Rural Development Minister Dipika Pandey Singh on Friday inaugurated the sixth edition of the Rural India Festival-Classic Expo 2026 organised by NABARD in Ranchi.
The Minister visited stalls and interacted with weavers, artisans and women's groups showcasing traditional products, handloom, art and craft and other rural products from across the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Dipika said inclusive development was not possible without strengthening the rural economy.
She said such events provide rural products recognition and market access while helping weavers, artisans and women's groups secure better prices. The expo also provides buyers access to quality and GI-tagged products, she said.
